How To Get Away With Murder Season 4 (Sky Living)
Black Lightning (Netflix)
Ongoing Shows: Castle, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal
My favourite of the month was Molly’s Game. Could you guess? I like watching dramas that make me feel smart and that happens to be Aaron Sorkin’s speciality. Yes he is also one of my favourite Screenwriters, but after watching the movie parts of it really stuck with me and to me that is the making of a good… well anything.
I should also note that ITV’s Kiri was a close second; it was surprising and emotional and actor Lucian Msamati pretty much made the show. It’s only four episodes but definitely worth the binge watch!
Over on Letterboxd I write a few lines in review for every movie, not just the ones I see in cinema if you want to check those out.
Sidenote: I went to the theatre and finally saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (literally booked the tickets a year and a half ago!) and so that was pretty cool. #KeepTheSecrets
Least you forget I happen to also be an avid reader, and January was (mostly) devoted to Classics. I managed to digest the following novels this month;
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
W.A.R: Wizards and Robots by Will.i.am and Brian David Johnson
Hamlet by William Shakespeare
Circe and the Cyclops by Homer
The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf
Check out my Goodreads for reviews and such.
Roll on February.
