Christmas Bells Jingled: 🔔🔔🔔
Back for another crazy switcheroo, Princess Stacey (Vanessa Hudgens) and Lady Margret (Vanessa Hudgens) pull the wool over the eyes of a tiny imaginary European country once more – this time there is one complication they didn’t account for.

Sequel to The Princess Switch (2018), it was never not an option to watch The Princess Switch: Switched Again.
Although a lot of that, will they, won’t they, of course they will, tone is gone from the sequel, it has been replaced by a nice setter-upper (we only use technical terms here) and given weight by a huge chunk of misunderstanding.
As crazy as it seems the addition of Lady Fiona (Vanessa Hudgens) the vapid bleach blonde cousin of Lady Margaret made Switched Again both fun and a lot more realistic. Hudgens’s showed a depth of range in her characterisations of the identical principal characters.
Switched Again has a lovely Christmas decoration scene towards the start of the movie, and of course Margret’s coronation is due to take place on Christmas – plus there is snow. But what cinches this movie is the familiarity of the characters and the continuation of their stories. Part of what we love about Christmas is the renewed familiarity, and The Princess Switch: Switched Again carries that well.
Side Note: Did any of my EastEnders’s watcher catch Ricky Norwood’s ‘Fatboy’ as Lady Fiona’s flunkey, Reggie?
