Christmas Bells Jingled: 🔔🔔🔔

Sir Cole, a 14th Century Knight, is sent to the future to fulfil an unknown quest.

The Knight Before Christmas

The movie was every bit as ridiculous as we all knew it was going to be – and it was also every bit as enjoyable as we all knew it was going to be.

Once we get past the farfetchedness of a knight having to be zapped into 2019 to do something he probably could have done in his own century, The Knight Before Christmas was just an easy to watch, cute movie… set around Christmas.

The holiday itself is used as a benchmark for time, but seeing all the houses decorated, and the Christmas fair in town, the snow and how bundled up everyone was, just put you right frame of mind.

Vanessa Hudgens back again for a Christmas Original with Netflix after last years The Princess Switch, was a good protagonist, and her on screen chemistry with Josh Whitehouse’s Sir Cole was not at all cringe which is always a bonus.

If you’re looking for something incredibly light, not too syrupy and marginally forgettable to put on in the background (….and then pay quite a bit of attention too), then this addition to Netflix’s Hallmark vibe Christmas movie is just what the elves ordered.

Also – can you name the two Netflix Original Christmas Movie plugs thrown in?
