TELEVISION
I started and finished a couple of really good series’ this month (linked below) and though as a whole the TV side wasn’t the most exciting I’m just happy I’m able to keep up with what I have because Lord knows these next few months are going to be tricky.
Started
Cheat – ITV [Quit]
American Gods – Amazon Prime
Barbies Dreamhouse Adventures – Netflix
Finished
The Umbrella Academy – Netflix
New Blood – Netflix [Rewatch]
Carmen Sandiego – Netflix
Baptiste – BBC One
Ongoing
The Flash (Season 5) – Sky
Grey’s Anatomy (Season 15) – Sky
Gilmore Girls (Season 3) – Netflix (Yup, still on Season 3 – Stop judging me!)
Castle (Season 6) – Sky (Yes I have revived this slow burner watch)
My favourite watch of the month was the BBC One series, Baptiste. If you know me and my very vocal opinions about British Police Drama then this will undoubtedly come as a surprise. Trust me, it was a shock to me too but the series packed one hell of a punch with twists and turns I’m still recovering from and a lead detective that you can’t help but root for.
Over on Letterboxd I write a few lines in review for every movie, not just the ones I see in cinema if you want to check those out.
A quick Theatre mention:

I went to see Waitress this month, which debuted on the West End this February. Coming from its run on Broadway, it’s been hyped up since it was announced last year. Thankfully I was glad to find it was worth every bit of its praise. Katherine McPhee has one heck of a voice on her, and the story was both surprising and uplifting, which you can never be mad it.
BOOKS
Least you forget I happen to also be an avid reader, and this month when I finally did crack open a book after my mini slump, I was focused on Romance. I didn’t do as well as last March when I whizzed through thirteen romance novels, but hey-ho.
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
The Duke and I by Julia Quinn
My favourite novel of the month was The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory. In all honesty, there was nothing truly special about this book, but it depicted a pretty realistic relationship between two people, even though they had a pretty fantastical “meet-cute”. Parts of the book did annoy me in terms of character depth, but it was enjoyable nevertheless and I talked about it so much whilst reading it my friend picked it up too.
Check out my Goodreads for reviews and such.
