‘Tis the season to be bingeing.
With work slowed down, me putting a pin in my own personal projects and having a solid week off during the holiday period, I was able to put the last three months to shame.
Movies
I watched a range of movies this month, and there was a higher than average amount of blogging as a result so thanks for sticking with me as you’ve been inundated with posts ^_^ – there were copious cinema trips, a number of re-watches and I was of course forced to sit through movies that weren’t chosen by me.

The Last Kingdom (Season 3)
Finished
Mrs Wilson
Doctor Who (Season 11)
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale (Special)
Killing Eve (Season 1)
The Good Place (Season 3)
The ABC Murders
Ongoing
The Flash (Season 5)
Grey’s Anatomy (Season 15)
Gilmore Girls (Season 3) [Paused]
Jessica Jones (Season 2) [Paused]
My favourite of the month was… Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I mean how could it not be? I told everyone one who would listen to get themselves over to the cinema to see it. The visuals, the soundtrack, that witty AF dialogue. I loved every second of this movie and all I want is more.
Over on Letterboxd I write a few lines in review for every movie, not just the ones I see in cinema if you want to check those out.
Books
Least you forget I happen to also be an avid reader, and this month I was focused on rounding up. There were a few books that I paused halfway through, that I wanted to make sure I finished this year. Alongside those books, there were some that I just never got around to starting even though I was looking forward to them.
White Teeth by Zadie Smith
Still House Lake by Rachel Caine
Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon
Verity by Colleen Hoover
Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe by Melissa de la Cruz
China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan
Tempt me at Twilight by Lisa Kleypas
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling
My favourite novel of the month was… Tempt me at Twilight by Lisa Kleypas – Not that I feel the need to defend myself but I chose this one for its character exploration. The background of one of the characters (Harry) was just so unexpectedly deep – the novel outlined his past and showed how it effected his future – and all the ways he needed to change. Loved it.
Check out my Goodreads for reviews and such.
Roll on January 2019.
